Ten dates in four cities for a writer with one of the world’s most bullshit-exciting CVs. He’s performed at Glastonbury Festival and La Sorbonne, got picked by the Flaming Lips for All Tomorrow’s Parties in New York, did The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and supported Cold War Kids on their European tour, an experience caught in the documentary You Belong Everywhere. Derrick founded the publishing house Write Bloody, won the Texas Book of the Year 2013, and voiced Mappy the Map on Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Now he’s here.
