In 2010 Going Down Swinging turns 30 years old, and to celebrate we're producing a very special anniversary 30th edition, to be launched in a series of festival events this August and September.

GDS No.30 will feature new poetry, short fiction, comic art, and spoken word from around the world in a bumper book / CD edition. We will be welcoming very special guest editors to the production table, including some illustrious GDS alumni, plus guest spoken word editors from all continents. New commissioned works, two global CDs of live and studio spoken word, and a haiku section edited by co-founder Myron Lysenko, are just some of the treats in store!
 

We are now calling for submissions of poetry, short fiction / non-fiction, flash, comic art, haiku and haiga, and spoken word recordings.
