In October we were hypnotised by Tom Joyce’s multi-character wandering streams. In November we nerded out with Scott Wings and his 8-bit heart and high-energy rhymes.

We’ve saved something really special for the final One Night Wonders of 2015.

Stalwart of Australian poetry Judith Rodriguez will take the microphone for a headline set just a few weeks shy of her 80th birthday.

Born in Perth and raised in Brisbane, Rodriguez’s body of work looks at life in Queensland, women’s experiences, Australian folklore and everything in between.

To witness Rodriguez deliver her work live will be a privilege, to capture it, master it and allow it to exist forever is a duty we’re honoured to take on.

We’ll return to the cosy green band room at North Melbourne’s Lithuanian Club for this special show, on Thursday 3 December.

As usual, entry is open to all by donation at the door, or you can pre-pledge to reserve seats ahead of time. Book now to guarantee your spot in the very limited audience.
