Now that we are re-launching our website in the year 2012, I think it befitting to dip our toes into the origins of spoken word.
Anyone who is a fan of digital archives has come across Words At War.
Words At War was an NBC radio program airing from 1943 to 1945, and is one of the oldest and best examples of spoken word. Telling stories of war, each episode would present a different story, often performed by the outstanding actors of the day.
