Going Down Swinging has partnered with Melbourne artist Emma Jensen to bring you Millennial Pink: a monthly series that blurs the line between comic strip and social experiment. Emma draws from readers’ real-life experiences and re-imagines them as graphic short stories, pictured through the eyes of four millennials: Beth, Freya, Cassie and Dom.

We want to hear about your millennial experience. Keep it short and sweet (think three to four sentences), be as specific or vague as you like. We’ll visually interpret the story of one reader in each Millennial Pink comic and publish their words alongside it.

The reader who submits the story selected for our first strip will receive a copy of our curiously elongated latest edition, Going Down Swinging #38.

You can remain anonymous if you’re worried about Facebook stealing all your data, but otherwise please include your name and a link to your blog/Instagram/Twitter. Email your submissions to online@goingdownswinging.org.au or tweet @swingingonline with #MillennialPink by 5 p.m. May 18 to be in the draw.

Emma Jensen makes comics, and sometimes other things, on Wurundjeri country.
