Archives: Bronte Lemaire
Bronte Lemaire is an emerging interdisciplinary writer and theatre maker based in Naarm. Lemaire recently completed their Honours in creative writing at The University of Melbourne where she researched the intersections between queer desire and violent imagery. He wrote and directed their first full length play ‘Medusa’ in 2025 at The Union House Theatre. Lemaire then created Tip Toe Theatre with whom she wrote and directed the group’s debut play ‘I Thought You Said’ as part of Theatre Works’ 2026 season.
