GDS#19 was again full of talent, with one of Australia’s most highly regarded poets in Jordie Albiston, Melbourne’s artistic everywhere-man Richard Watts, and future GDS editor Anna Hedigan, along with the likes of Kevin Brophy, Garth Madsen, Jules Leigh Koch, and professional weirdo Eddy Burger.
The recordings featured the whisper-quiet vocals of Ian McBryde; the unlikely appearance of the veteran Eric Beach; the strange rhythms of Kerry Loughrey; early work from a young Emilie Zoey Baker, and a frequent GDS contributor of the era in Adam Gibson.
