Joseph Hosking is a writer and artist from Melbourne. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Victorian College of the Arts and is currently pursuing his second degree in animation at Swinburne University.

He serves as a freelance storyboard artist and production assistant with the multi-award-winning independent documentary company iKandy Films, contributing to acclaimed productions including the Stan Originals How To Poison A Planet (2024) and A Horse Named Winx (2024).

In his projects, Joseph focuses on the foundations of storytelling – primarily with structural frameworks and traditional narratives. His field of work includes fiction, theory, and traditional and digital animation. As a writer and artist, Joseph always aims to channel core emotional drama, especially in the form of human relationships and the strife that comes with them.

In his own words, “the core to any effective story is always the conflict of the human soul and its struggle against itself.” Joseph hopes to always channel the universal experiences of people in any of his creative endeavours.

Stephen Zavitsanos is a writer and editor with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Melbourne.

Currently, he is the literary and arts editor for the human rights magazine Right Now and the editor-in-chief of Unite Zine, an official not-for-profit fundraising magazine supporting the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Eat Up Australia. He is also working with the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne as the programming and festival coordinator.

With a strong background in creative writing, he thrives on curating, creating and editing content that makes an impact. He is passionate about fundraising, hosting events and building communities through creativity and collaboration. His work has been recognized with a shortlisting for the Dorothy Porter Award for Poetry, and he’s raised over $2,000 for various charities through zine sales and events.
