GDS#37 saw readers swept into the studio of Kurdish artists, lost in the sprawling subway of Mexico City, and squinting through the ochre dust haze of Australia’s red centre. From up-and-coming or tried-and-tested writers came stories of big losses, broken nostalgia, weird romance and clear-eyed discovery.
